It .is’notable that the Stratford Jersey Cattle C|„b is instituting a sale of pedlsreo Jersey bolls, the first sale to take place on October This sale is conllnoti to pedigree bulls, and all most be snMeeted to a rigorous inspection. Already over 100 entries have been raceived, and the sale promises to be an outstand"'included- among the entries are six, yearling hulls entered by Mr. B. Linnell ot Midhus.. Reared under very ordinary conditions, these bulls are developing into fine typey animals, and all are backed by the best oreeding. One of these is Remuera General, out of General t-h'v bv the bull Oonkland’s Roselle, a son. „f the imported bull Roselle’s Sultan. Luck out of Haleroft’s I.uck. by President Wilson is another by Mr. 1-lnnell. The dam 1,,,-, a record of 300 lb of fat unfinished, and ,1m sire was the top-price bull, over three rears old. in Taranaki, anil has a number of daughters with S.O. records. Remuera Bov. 'mother yearling bull included in the six mentioned, is a finely-bred animal tracing back tn the famous K.C.B. ‘with such animals as these submitted, the Cittle Club s sale is expected to attract Jer<sev fanciers from all parts of the country. Breeders or dairymen in search of good sires will be offered an opportunity of choosing from Taranaki's best Jersey stock.
