A new way of selling tyres is advertised by the Taranaki Agents for Partridge tyres (the Phoenix Motors. Ltd.) Hitherto they have sold tyres in the ordinary way—so much each. Now they are selling tyres at per mile of running. That is to say that they sell +he tyres to do 8000 miles. If they don’t do that distance allowances is made; if they do more than 8000, as they feel certain can be done, then that is to the profit of the users. The scheme is fully explained in the Phoenix Motors’ advt •a AM.
