SPORTING.
HUNT CLUB MEETING. A meeting of the executive of the North Taranaki Hunt Club was held on Monday evening. for the purpose of dealing with matters connected with the recent steeplechase meeting. The balance sheet, presented by the treasurer showed that the meeting had resulted in a profit to the club of about £350. This is without making allowance for any charges which mav be made by the Jockey Club. The result was regarded as very satisfactory by the commlt-
A vote of £lO 10s was passed to Mr. 11. Coyle for his services as handicapper. Accounts amounting to £270 were passed for payment.
