LABOR IN THE FIELD. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Sept. 14. The Labor Party is endorsing over 400 candidates for the general election, including 71 out of 75 of the present Labor members of the House of Commons. Over 2400 local Labor organisations throughout the country, with which 800 women's sections, with a membership of 80,000. are associated with the trade uniops, are nominating about half the Parliamentary candidates. The others include a dozen women.
