THE LIQUOR LAWS.

NEW MEASURE FOR N.S.W. By Telegraph.-T-Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Sept. 15. Mr. Ley has drafted a Liquor Bill providing a number of sweeping changes. A fee of 2 per cent, will be charged publicans on all purchases and a special fee be payable by brewers, which is expected to produce an additional revenue of £30,000. No wine licenses will be granted in future to women, nor snail women, except the wife or daughters of the licensee, be permitted to be employed about a bar. The Bill also prohibits carrying away liquor from licensed premises during prohibited hours.
