HAMILTON SHOOTING CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Sept. 15. William Alexander Crosean, who was found guilty on Wednesday of shooting Detective Lambert with intent to do grievous bodily harm, was sentenced to seven years’ reformative treatment. His Honour stated he regarded the shooting as a sudden ebullition of criminality due to a combination of circumstances and did not reveal the real character of the accused.
