ACTIVITY BY TRIBES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— Copyright. Delhi, Sept. 14. Details of the Mesopotamia trouble have arrived, modifying previous information. Apparently the behavior of the Kurdish levies is unsatisfactory, but thia was not the cause of the withdrawal. which is ascribed to the strength of the tribal contingent the Turks have succeeded in raising. The evacuation of officials by aeroplane was carried out from Sulaimani only. The number of British officials so removed was fifteen out of a total of ’do, the remainder being recruited from nonMohammedan personnel. The Turkish forces are now reported fo have withdrawn to Rowanduz and the tribal gathering has dispersed.
