The evacuation of officials by aeroplane was carried out from Sulaimani only. The number of British officials so removed was fifteen out of a total of ’do, the remainder being recruited from nonMohammedan personnel. The Turkish forces are now reported fo have withdrawn to Rowanduz and the tribal gathering has dispersed.
