J>UBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Rating Act, 1908,” ahd the amendments thereto, and “The Counties’ Act, 1920,” and the amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Council of the County of Egmont, at a Special Meeting to be held at the Council Chambers, Opunake,, on Monday, the 2nd day of October, 1922, to make and levy the following General Rates on the Capital Value of all rateable property within the respective ridings of the County, for the period of twelve months, from the first day of April, 1922, to the 31st day of March, 1923, namely— OEO RIDING.—Two pence and one farthing (2£d) in the £. OPUA RIDING. —Two pence and one half-penny (24d) in the £. OPUNAKE RIDING.—One penny and one half-penny (l|d) in the £. RAHOTU RIDING.—Two pence and and one half-penny (2|d) in the And that such rates shall be due and become payable in one sum at the County Office, Opunake, on the 2nd day of October, 1922, to the County Clerk and Rate Collector.
