WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.
The following Government weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: ‘‘Present indications are for strong easterlies northwards of Kawhia and East Cape, and moderate to strong south-easterly winds prevailing elsewhere. Squally conditions and heavy showers are probablye in the northernmost districts, and cold and changeable weather generally, with scattered showers along the east coast. The barometer is unsteady in the far north, but there Is little movement at present elsewhere.”
