PROGRESS TOWARDS UNION. Bj’ Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Sept. 13. The Presbyterian Assembly passed a resolution that the report of the committee on the basis of church union be referred to the State assemblies, Presbyterian associations and congregations for approval or otherwise, also that the assembly recommends that, co-operation, with a view of union, be actively prosecuted.
