LONDON MARKETS. WOOL SALES FIRM. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Convrleht. London, Sept. 13. At the wool sales there was a fair offering of good merinos and medium and low cross-,, breds. There was keen competition and full prices were realised. The wool sales continue firm, with good support in all sections. There Ih no quotable change; New Zealand scoured Gerard 44%d. Tallow.—l7B6 casks offered, 1344 sold at par to 6d decline. Mutton, fine 40s 6d, medium 355; beef, fine 41s, -medium 355. The cessation of exports from Smyrna has hardened the dried fruit market all round. It is announced the agents of the Australian Association will raise the prices of Three Crown sultanas to 130 s. Three Crown currants to 725, Two Crown to 68s, Four Crown lexias to 755, and others proportionately. EXCHANGE RATES. London. Sept. 13. Exchange rates are: Paris 58.27 francs, Berlin 7025 marks, Rome 105.25 lire. LOCAL MARKET PRICES.
