The steaimer John arrived from Lyttelton, Wellington and Picton at 1.40 p.m. yesterday with about 300 tons of general cargo. She sails to-day for Lyttelton. RARAWA TEMPORARILY REPLACED. Passengers and 150 tons of cargo were brought from Onehunca yesterday morning by the Rarawa. which arrived at 6.30 yesterday morning and sailed on return at 8.30 last evening. Owing to the s.s. Manaia’s survey now being due. and the s.s. Rarawa having to come round to the East Coast to relievn her and then undertro her own sutvey, it will be necessary for the Rarawa to leave Onehunga fnr Auckland on Saturday, 23rd inst., leaving New Plvmouth for Onehunga on Friday. 22nd Inst. The s«. Rirnu will relievo the Rarawa in the New Plymouth run, and will leave Onehunga on Monday. 25th inst.. and make three trips per week. She will he timed to leave Onehunga every Monday. Wednesday nnd Friday at 2 p.m.. returning from New Plymouth on Tuesday. Thursday and Saturday at 4.20 p.m. The Rarawa will probably be off the Onehunga-New Plymouth service for about six weeks. WAITEMATA DUE FRIDAY. ( The Waitemata is +n leave Napier to-night for Now Plymouth, where she is due on Friday with a Pacific Coast cargo consisting or timber, asnhaltum. motor oils, and spirits. It Is expected the vessel will snil on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning for Dunedin and Bluff eh route to Australian ports. KAHIKA NORTHWARD BOUND. The Kahika was wnrkln? nt Tbmaru yesterday, and is due nt Lyttelton to-day. She is expected at New Plymouth with general southern cargo on Friday morning, and will • probably sail the same night fnr Nelson. THE PORT DENISON.
