PLUNKET SOCIETY.

NEW PLYMOUTH BRANCH. The monthly meeting of the New Plymouth Plunket Society was held yesterday afternoon. Donations —Mrs. Drake 15s, Mrs. Humphries 10s, Mrs. Vadanavitch £l. The nurse’s report for August stated: Number of.babies on the list (old ones) 251, (new ones) 18; breast .11, supplemented 2, artificial feeding 5; visits paid to homes (old cases) 227, (new cases) 63; visits received at office (adults) 286, (babies) “237; advice to expectant mothers 3; mothers shown how to make milk 10; four visits paid to Waitara (new babies there 5); five visits paid to Inglewood (new babies there 7).
