An agreement has been signed here to-day by Leslie Urquhart on behalf of the Russo-Asiatic Consolidated Company and Krassin, on behalf of the Soviet Government, whereby the former obtains a 99 years’ lease of the property in the Urals and Siberia which the company previously owned or leased. The company secures the right to make its own arrangements with workmen on the usual British trade union terms and received compensation partly in cash, partly in bonds, for the damage done to the properties through destruction and nationalisation. Received Sept. 11, 5.5 p.m. Berlin, Sept. 10. A sum of £56,000,000 is involved in the deal between Mr. Urquhart, on behalf of the Russo-Asiatic Company, and M.
