THE CHEESE MARKET.
MUCH STRONGER TONE. Mr. Geo. 11. Buckeridge, of Hawera, has received a cable message from Messrs. Lane and Co., London, stating: “The cheese market is much stronger. There has been an average advance in the Canadian market of Gs per cwt. this Week.”
It is of interest to New Zealand producers to note that the Canadian output is short this year, being estimated at 30 ner cent, below that of last season. Prospects for New Zealand cheese are regarded as very good.
