AGED TRAVELLER DIES. London, August 25. Almost within sight of the land to see which be had journeyed from Melbourne by the P. and O. liner Narkunda, Mr. Thomas Pitmar died of apoplexy, and was buried at sea. He had been in Australia for 40 years, and though 77 years old he wanted to see “the Old Country” again. He had intended to rejoin the Narkunda on the return voyage, but died 10 hours before the ship reached Plymouth.
