(8.10 a.m.), 1319 tons, Edge, for Nelson and southern ports. IN PORT. Corinna, s.s. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. COASTAL. Rarawa, from Onehunga, to-morrow. John, from Lyttelton, to-morrow. Kahika, from southern ports, Sept. 16. OVERSEAS. Waltemata, from Pacific ■Coast, Sept. 17. Port Denison, to leave England, this month. Waihemo, from Pacific Coast, November. CORINNA. The Corinna left Nelson on Saturday afternoon, and arrived at New Plymouth yesterday mbrnlpK at 8.10. She has on board about 450 tons of general cargo for this port, and It is expected that she will get away to-day. BLUFF TO NEW PLYMOUTH. The Kahika’s itinerary is being extended to include Bluff every four to six weekly period. This means that instead of first loading at Dunedin for northern ports (including New Plymouth) the vessel will, every second or third trip, as may be arranged from time to time, load first at Bluff. The Kahika will load at Bluff for the first time under the new arrangement about September 21. CONVERTED TO OIL BURNERS. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s Reniuera, which recently collided with another vessel during a fog in the English Channel and had to return to port for repairs, is being converted to burn oil fuel. The Shropshire Is being similarly converted and is being renamed the Rotorua. OVERSEA MOVEMENTS. London. September 7.—Arrived: At London, City of Edinburgh. Passed Perim, Raceonigi, Morea. Sailed: For Sydney, Bendigo; for Hobart, Port Melbourne; from Table Bay, Diogenes: from Aden. Hounslow; from Port Natal, Udy; from Teneriffe, Medic.
