In continuation of the National lawn tennis meeting at Boston. O’Hara Wood (Australia) defeated Arthur Mollis 6—3, 6—4, 6—l, and Anderson (Australia) defeated Sidney Thayer 6—3. 3—6, 6—2, 6—4. HAWERA CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Hawera Club on Friday night the following officers were elected: President. Mr. R. A. Douglas; vicepresidents, Dr. Young and Mrs. Morris; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. G. Brodie; lion, secretary, Mr. N. Caplen; committee, Mesdames Bennett and Dowling, Messrs. Leece, F. D. Caplen, and E. G. Foden; ground committee, Messrs. Leece and N. Caplen; match committee, Meuri. E. G. Foden and A. A. Douglas,
