WAITARA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Mr. and Mrs. J. Foreman, with their daughter Connie, have taken up their residence in Princes Street Waitara. On their departure from Tikorangi, where they have been farming for a good number of years, the residents of the surrounding district gave them a farewell social in the Tikorangi Hall. Miss May Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs P. Roberts, who at one time were residents of Waitara, have passed the examination for the associateship of Trinity College in pianoforte-playing. Misses May and Violet Harrison (daughters of the Rev. C. F. Harrison), who at one time was Vicar of St. John’s Church, have been on a visit to Waitara. Mr. Laurie Johnston has been granted sick leave for six months from the Hamilton branch of the Bank of New Zealand
