ACUTE SHORTAGE CONTINUES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Sept. 7, 7.55 p.m. Berlin, Sept. 6. Despite the fact that twenty-four thou* sand million paper marks have been issued this week, making a total circulation of 251 thousand million, the acute shortage of readv money continues. The Prussian Chamber of Commerce reports that many factories will soon be retrenching, as it will be impossible to carry on owing to the enormous capital required to purchase raw materials and pay abnormal wages.—Aus.-N.Z.
