A LIFT FATALITY.
MAN FALLS FIFTEEN FEET. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A. Laurie, a married man about 60 years of age, was killed through falling down a lift well, a distance of 14 to 15 feet. The base of his skull was badly fractured. The lift was an automatic one, and it is surmised he opened the door at the ground floor, under the impression that the lift was there. He died within a few minutes of the discovery. He formerly resided at Kingsland,'and had just removed to Greenlane.
