November, 1912, to vehicles drawn by horses. (2) To revoke section 13 of the last mentioned By-laws (relating to heavy traffic in the Werekino Road District). * (3) To prescribe a yearly license fee of £2 10s for every trailer attached to a motor waggon or lorry. (4) To prohibit the driving across any bridge or culvert of any vehicle exceeding (with load) 10 tons in weight. (5) To provide for the regulation of the width of tyres of vehicles in proportion to the weight of the load. (6) To provide for the computation of the weight of certain specified articles by reference to quantity. (7) To authorise the inspection, examination, measurement and weight of vehicles and loads. (8) To prescribe penalties for breaches of the By-laws. A copy of the proposed By-laws is deposited at the Office of the Council in Robe Street, New Plymouth, and will remain open to the inspection of the public during office hours until the holding of the meeting of which notice is now given.
