DIVORCE PROCEEDING.

DECREES GRANTED. In the Supreme Court at New Plym-uth, on Saturday morning, before His Honor Mr. Justice Chapman, Pearl Elsie Evelyn Galvin, Awakino, petitioned for the dissolution of her marriage with Sydney Edward Galvin, laborer, Wanganui, on the grounds of desertion and failure to maintain. After evidence had been given by petitioner and her daughter, his Honour granted a decree nisi, to be moved absolute in three months. Interim custody of the children was given to the petitioner, and costs on the lowest scale were allowed against the respondent. A decree absolute, in the petition of Nellie Louise Gilbert, of Waitara, v. Robert Gilbert, slaughterman, New Plymouth, was granted.
