INCREASE IN PAPER MONEY. By Telegraph -—Press Assn —Copyright. Received Sept. 3. 5.5 pan. Vienna, Sept. 1. The note circulation has passed the billion mark, and Treasury bills 670 million kroner. The note increase is due to heavy demands by the great industries, which, owing to the enormous rise in the August index figure, are unable to cover their normal expenditure. The Neue Freie Presse says the wages required by one manufactory in August would have sufficed formerly to finance the whole of Austrian industry for a year.—
