A BABY’S DEATH.
SUFFOCATED IN COT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. A male child, aged sixteen weeks, was found suffocated in its cot on Saturday morning. The child was last few at eleven o’clock the previous night and was found with a blanket over ute mouth and close to the nostrils, tightly clenched in both hands. The infant was boArded in a licensed home. The coroner (Mr. Mosley) at the inquest returned a verdict that death was due to suffocation, no blame being attachable to an/-
