The- Senate passed the Soldiers’ Bonus Bill, appropriating four thousand million dollars for ex-service men’s cash rewards. The House of Representatives has already passed the measure. President Harding has repeatedly made a statement that he will veto the measure unless it carried with it provisions to raise the revenue needed, which the Bill does not do. The House of Representatives has passed a measure providing for an emergency distribution of coal. The Bill has now been sent to the Senate.
