IDLE ARMY OFFICERS.
RETRENCHMENT IN INDIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, August 31. Over a thousand officers have been demobilised owing to the reorganisation of the Indian Army, and others have been warned that their services may be dispensed with. The bulk are returning to England, others are proceeding to the Dominions, including fifteen to New Zealand.
