Since its establishment in 1872 the State-guaranteed Public Trust Office has worked on the principle of giving a maximum of efficiency at a minimum of cost to its numerous clients. Profit is not the prime purpose, though the enterprise is reasonably profitable, by reason of the very large volume of business and the efficiency of its administration by well-trained experts in all departments of the work. The fees and other charges are on the lowest possible scale.
