The Eastern Sea, having discharged her case oil and general cargo from New York, sailed for Sydney and Melbourne at 2 p.tm. yesterday. KAHIKA THIS MORNING. The Kahika is due about noon to-day with 1000 tons of general cargo from southern ports, and is expected to sail for Nelson on Monday. She left Wellington at 5.5 p.m. last night. COAL FROM WESTPORT.
The Waimea, with 350 tons of coal from Westport, arrived yesterday morning from Greymouth, and after discharge sailed for West port last evening at 6.40. THE RARAWA. Passengers and 180 tons of cargo were bYbught from Onehunga by the Rarawa yesterday morning. The vessel returned north last night. KAIKOURA’S LOADING. The liner Kaikoura, which cleared New Plymouth on Tuesday, is to leave the Wanganui roadstead this evening for Timaru, proceeding thence to Wellington, from which port she Is to sail for the United Kingdom about September 11. KUROW LEAVING WHANGAREI. The Kurow is to leave Whangarei this afternoon with a cement cargo for New Plymouth.
