WEATHER FORECAST.
Wellington, Last Night. The following Government weather forecast was Issued at 4 p.m. to-day: “Present indications are for strong easterlies northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and south-easterly to north-easterly breezes freshening shortly elsewhere. Weather fair, hut cloudiness is increasing generally, and rain is probable soon in northern and southernmost districts. The barometer has a falling tendency in the north."
