NEW MAGAZINES.
Through Messrs. T. Avery and Sons we have received from Messrs. Gordon and • Gotch the following magazines for review: Packed from cover to cover with interesting articles and beautiful illustrations (many pages in photogravure), My Magazine for July worthily upholds the high standard set in previous issues. Among the many features of this number are articles on “Dick Whittington as He Really Was,” “The Treasure House of Ages,” listing the noblest things that men have left behind, “The New Aladdin and His Lamp,” what the chemist is trying to do. There is a special section in color for the very small frock. My Magazine should be in every home. It is of interest to grown-ups as well as the children. A magazine that is rapidly increasing in popularity is The Novel. The July issue just to hand is full of bright friction by well known writers among whom are Eden Phillpotts, William Le Queux, Violet Quirk, and Albert Payson Terhune. The magazine is well printed and illustrated and & sold at a popular priea.
