The national doubles championship final, between Tilden and Richards and Patterson and O’Hara Wood, has been postponed until Tuesday. Twenty hours’ continuous rain has made the courts unplayable. PLAY IN AMERICA. Received Aug. 29, 8.20 p.m. New York. August 29. The Boston tennis courts arc so wet that it is doubtful if the national doubles match can be played to-day. The teams agreed that, if th>s is the case the match will be postponed till after the Davis Cup finals, or even after the national singles.
