There has been a ministerial crisis in Bagdad over the signing of the BritishIrak treaty on the lines of the British mandate. The Cabinet, which favored signing, has resigned, as King Feisu! (who was operated on for appendicitis yesterday) favors the extremists, who are opposed to signing, thereby formally accepting the British mandate.
