POLICE SHOT AT.
MAN USES REVOLVER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington. August 25. While two constables were about to serve a warrant upon a Petone resident, Benjamin Jones, he attacked them with & revolver and fired four shots, but missed, and was about to fire again, with thp revolver close to one | constable’s body, when the other knocked it aside. He was arrested on the charge of attempted murder.
