- IMPORTANT SALE AT KAPONGA ► MR. R. T. B. MELLOW’S HERD. An important sale of pedigree Holstein Friesian cattle was held at Kaponga yesterday-, the offerings being from the well-known herd of Mr. R. T. B. Mellow. There was a large attendance of buyers, fanciers from all parts of the Dominion being present. About a hundred lots were disposed of, and the best price was 130 guineas. It was a very good sale, considering the condition of the stock and the fact that no dates of service and no butter-fat records were supplied. Mr. F. Court, of Auckland, was the principal buyer, securing 32 lots. All the better class animals went out of Taranaki. The sale was conducted by Messrs.
