REACTION IN BAVARIA.
HINDENBURG A LEADER By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aug. 22, 9.5 p.m. London, August 21. The Daily Telegraph’s Berlin correspondent reports that Hindenburg, who is rapidly becoming the rallying-point for reaction, was the central figure of a magnificent monarchist corroboree in Munich yesterday. The town was richlv beflagged,, but only with the Bavarian and old Imperial colors. Many generals and ex-princes were present in their old full-dress uniforms, including ex-Prince Rupprecht, the camouflaged King of Bavaria. Students and old soldiers’ associations attended in full force. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
