• THE PROGRESSIVE PARTY. Received August 21, 10.45 p.m. Sydney, August 21. At the annuYU conference of the Farmers’ and Settlers’ Association, Mr. Killen, in his presidential address, said the Progressive Party in the Assembly held the balance of power. The split in the party before the last election had resulted in the consolidation of the party into a body representing the primary resources, and determined to uphold the stearate entity of the party at all eoeta.
