MR. COLLINS’ NARROW ESCAPE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, August 20. J The Government’s precautions last night frustrated the threatened rebel outbreaks, but a determined effort was made to ambush Mr. Collins’ car between Greystones and Dublin. A bomb was thrown, followed by a fusillade of bullets. The driver was wounded, but Mr. Collins had left the car earlier. GUERILLA WARFARE. London. August 19. The Irish Irregulars have been defeated in the field and* are developing guerilla tactics by forming flying columns composed of thirty to forty men. Free Staters repulsed the rebels at Galially, capturing large quantities of arms and ammunition. Free Staters also occupied Macroom and Millstreet. DE VALERA REPORTED WOUNDED. Received Aug. 22, 1.5 a.m. London, August 20. De Valera is reported to be dangerously wounded in th** throat. He is sheltering in a lonely house somewhere
