The Australian Research Council conan< heartily supported the proposal to hold a Pan-Pacific Seient.iic Conference in Sydney and Melbourne next year. The Commonwealth Government has promised £5OOO towards the cost. Professor David stated that an invitation to attend had been accepted by the United St-tes National Research Co'’"cil. Arrangements were being made end general invitations. The meeting discussed he scope of the conference and decided to add the officers of the Council of Research to the existing Pan-Pacific Conference to make the necessary arrangements.
