SUDDEN DEATH IN STREET. By Telegraph.—Press Association Christchurch, Last Night. Charles B. Gillespie, an operator at the Chrystal Palace Picture Theatre, died suddenly to-day while cycling along the street. He suffered severely from heart disease for some years. SCALDED TO DEATH Auckland, Last Night. A three-year-old infant, Frederick Trevor Harris, Whose parents reside at Arch Hill, died in hospital as the result of scalds through accidentally falling into a bucket of boiling water on the kitchen floor.
