The pedigree herd $l- - though small consists of some very good material and its disposal should be of particular interest to Jersey bree4ers. Mr. Greig selected splendid foundation cows, and has since bred on sound lines, I this being clearly indicated by the ex- ! cellent figures obtained for two of his bulls at the last October Jersey bull sale held in New Plymouth. They realised 135 and 120 guineas respectively. The grade cows are mostly Jerseys, al! young, being selected as yearlings out of some of the best herds in North Taranaki. Average test for last three seasons 4.23, 4.32, 4.33. The horses are ■ good. All the implements are in tip- , top order.
