GENERAL ELECTION FORECASTED By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, August 16. In view of the continuous obstructive tactics by the opponents of the Federal Ministry, it is stated that it can be taken for granted that a general election will be held before the end of the year. It is understood that Mr. Hughes has informed his supporters that these tactics cannot be tolerated tiny longer and, unless the Ministry sees some prospect of carrying through its programme, an e.arlv resignation may be expected.
