OTARAMA LOADING. The Federal liner Otwama, which left Napier on Saturday, arrived off New Plymouth at 7.80 yesterday morntag, being boarded by the harbormaster (Captain Waller) shortly after 10 o’clock an’d brought alongside about 11 a.m. The Qtarama, which is paying her second visit to this port. Is a vessel of 7759 tons gross with a length of 470 feet. She was drawing 23ft. 6in. on entering port. Captain R. Williams is in command* and has associated with him the following officers: Chief, Mr, D. H. Laws: second, Mr. D. Hughes; third, Mr. W. H. Moorhouse; fourth, Mr. S. W. Farrant; chief engineer, Mr. P. T. Woodall; second engineer, Mr. S. Robertson; third, Mr. Cirgin; fourth, Mr. Casey; fifth, Mr. Irving; sixth, Mr. Minto; electrician, Mr. Youal; wireless operator, Mr. H. Williams; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. Paltie; second, Mr. Simpson; surgeon, Dr. McCullough; chief steward, Mr. W. Smith.

After loading Homeward cargo consisting of 12.900 freight carcases of frozen meat from Borthwick’s (Waitara) and 2309 freight carcases of beef from the New Zealand Meat Packing and Bacon Co. (Eltham), the vessel goes to the Wanganui roadstead, and thence to Wellington, sailing for Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Video, about Angust 24. Given fine weather the Otarama may complete loading and sail late to-day, but probably she will not clear port till to-morrow, KARORI TO-MORROW. The Karori, with 485 tons of cement from Whangarei for discharge at New Plymouth, is due at Wellington to-day and at this port to-morrow. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rarawa, which left Onehunga at 3.30 p.m. yesterday, is due at New Plymouth early this morning, and sails on the return passage at 8.30 to-night. NGAKUTA'S DEPARTURE.
