WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following Government weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: “Present indications are for north-west to south-west winds, strong to gale, weather cloudy and unsettled, with rain generally, and heavy rain with rivers rising on the West Coast of the South Island, and snow on the higher levels. The barometer is falling, but will rise shortly.”
