EVERYBODY’S. ‘“THE FORBIDDEN THING.” Allan Dwan’s big special feature, “The Forbidden Thing,” will be the attraction again this afternoon alid to-night at Everybody’s. The the story are laid in the Cape Cod fishing district, and all the human joys and sorrows of a happvor unhappy people run with astoundii* interest from the first reel to the last. The central theme of the story revolves round the eternal contest of the physical woQian against the spiritual woman for the possession of a man’s soul. It is a remarkable production and one that will rank as one of the real screen documents of the year. The final screening is announced for this evening. “Pollyanna” commences a threenight season at Everybody’s on Monday and “the glad game” will also be continued at special matinees on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Wednesday the time of starting will be delayed until 3 o’clock to give all school children a chance to see this fine subject. Seats for the night sessions can now be reserved at Collier’s. THE PEOPLED. WIDE OPEN TOWN.” There is action a plenty, growing in intensity as the story unfolds in Conway Tearle’s latest picture, “A Wide Open Town,” which screens to-day and to-night at the People’s. It is a rapidly moving story of a youngster born in the most unhappy environments which earn}' him through a life of exciting incidents, in the gaming houses of the under world until he is made a worthy member of society. Tearle. as a gentleman gambler has a role which suits him and his love for a sweet, innocent young girl influences him to the paths of complete respectability. The story itself is entertainingly told, beautifully staged, realistically enacted, and will make a wide appeal to all who witness the photoplay. The supporting films are Topical, Comedy, and Episode 9 of “Thunderbolt Jack.” The prices are as usual.
