THE ANNUAL REPORT. The tenth annual report of the Kabnata Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., states: Cheese made amounted to 332 tons 5 cwt. 1 qur. 26 lb. Whey butter made amounted to 10 tons 2 cwt. 2 qrs. 23 lb. Creamery butter was made during the months of June, July, and part of August. 1921. and part of May, 1922, amounting to 5 tons 17 cwt. 1 qr. 1 lb. Suppliers are to be congratulated on the increase in the supply this season, the excess of_ butter-rat over the 1920-21 season being 48.594 lb, an increase of 20.34 per cent. At the date of balancing 1015 crates of cheese were still in store in the freezing works at Moturoa, and the final returns will not be available for some time yet. Suppliers have received advances amounting to Is 3.2 d per lb of butter-fat, and the balance remaining, £2639 19s 7d, will allow of a further 2.2 d to be paid out, when the cheese is shipped and the money comes to hand.
