EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
NEW ZEALAND’S PART. A COMMITTEE FORMED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. New Zealand’s representation at the British Empire Exhibition, to be held in 1924, was discussed this morning at a conference representative of Dominion trade, commerce, primary, secondary and other industries. The conference was convened by the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Hon. E. P. Lee). The Minister briefly opened the meeting, tvhich was then addressed at length by Major Belcher, head of the exhibition mission now touring New Zealand, on the question of the organisation of New Zealand exhibits and the part New Zealand should take in the exhibition. At the conclusion of this address, the meeting itself into a general committee to discuss details.
