Ratepayers of , the King Road Special Rating Area, in the Taranaki County hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the Ratepayers of the Special Rating Area, the capital value of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County is colleetively greater than the capital values of the properties of the Ratepayers who did not consent, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: For the purpose of forming and metalling King Road, the Taranaki County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £7OO at four and a-half per centum per annum for a period of thirty-six years and a-half. and declares that the cost of / raising the said loan and the] first year’s interest on the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised.
