The following official reather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: 'Present indications are for strong easterly winds northwards of Kawhia and East Cape. with moderate to strong southerlies elsewhere. Weather cold and changeable generally, with scattered showers along the east coast, and squally with heavy showers in northernmost districts. The barometer is unsteady.”
