DOPING RACEHORSES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Paris, July 30. Trainer Portefln was fined 500 francs, and his license was suspended, for doping racehorses.
It is stated that Captain J. Gage Williams has been appointed to succeed Mr. R. B. Lusk as judge at the Wellington Racing Club’s meetings.
